West Central Railway (WCR) is one of the 18 railway zones in India. It was formed on 1st April 2003 by the amalgamation of the former Central Railway Zone's Bhopal and Jabalpur divisions, and the former Western Railway Zone's Kota division. The headquarters of West Central Railway is located in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh.
The West Central Railway network covers parts of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. It has three divisions: Bhopal, Jabalpur, and Kota. The Bhopal division covers the Bhopal and Itarsi junctions, the Jabalpur division covers Jabalpur, Katni, and Satna junctions, and the Kota division covers Kota, Ratlam, and Bina junctions.
